Delete your ContactsAI account

You can delete the account you created by logging in with your WhatsApp number. You can do this in the app, or ask us to do it if you no longer have the app.
Option 1: Delete in the app
- Open ContactsAI.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
The account is deleted right away and you are logged out on every device.
Option 2: Ask us to delete it

with the subject Delete my ContactsAI account. Include the WhatsApp number
you logged in with, including the country code (for example +91 98765 43210).
To confirm the request is really yours, we will message that WhatsApp number or ask you to reply from it. After you confirm, we delete the account within 30 days (usually much sooner) and email you when it is done.
What gets deleted
- Your WhatsApp phone number and your account record.
- Your login sessions on every device, and the link between your devices and the account.
- Your account's AI usage limits and settings.
- Your contact entry in the WhatsApp messaging service we use to send login codes.
What we keep, and why
- Usage records without personal data. Counts of AI requests (time, token count, cost) stay for billing and abuse prevention. They are tied to a random ID, not to your phone number.
- A monthly usage counter. A counter keyed by a one-way hash of your phone number expires automatically at the end of the current month.
- The anonymous app install. The app works without an account, so your device's random install ID stays until you uninstall the app.
Data that was never on our servers
Your contacts, business cards, notes and tasks are stored only on your phone. We never uploaded them, so there is nothing for us to delete. Uninstalling the app removes them from your phone. Photos or text you send for AI extraction are processed and not stored on our servers.
